SigningOnline.com offers Continuing Education Units to Educators
Mason, MI – June 1, 2003 – Signing Online, LLC has received approval from the State of Michigan Department of Education to offer State Board approved Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the Learning American Sign Language Series of courses (ASL101, ASL102, ASL103, and ASL104.)
"This is an excellent, economical opportunity for Educators to receive continuing education units from the comfort of their own computer," said David Stewart, CEO of Signing Online. "Educators can earn 1.5 CEUs for each of the Learning ASL series of courses as they learn to communicate effectively in American Sign Language."
To make the CEUs available, Signing Online is partnering with Michigan State University. Educators can enroll for one of the approved courses on SigningOnline.com. When they enroll they specify that they are taking the course for CEUs. After completing the course and passing the final exam, they will receive a record of participation granted by Michigan State University.
