Overview Letters Double Letters Names Examples

Double Letters

If a word contains a double letters (e.g. 'tt' in 'letter'), the hand is typically moved to the outside to show that a letter is repeated as in K-E-E-P and Y-E-L-L-O-W. If the fingers are in contact then they tap to indicate the double letter: L-E-T-T-E-R, R-O-O-K, and A-D-D.
