Learning ASL Series
This series of four ASL courses will give you the basic skills you need to become fluent in ASL.

Upon completion of all four courses, you will know how to greet people, ask questions, describe things, tell stories, name things, express your feelings, and more. You will have learned over 800 signs and know how to put them together to carry on meaningful conversations in ASL.
Who should enroll?
You should enroll in the ASL courses if one or more of the following criteria fit you:
- You want to communicate with deaf friends or family
- You are losing your hearing and want to learn sign language
- You are an educator that wants to earn State Board approved Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
- You are a nurse that wants to earn Nursing Continuing Education Contact Hours (CEs)
- You want your kids (possibly home-schoolers) to learn a new language
- You are currently taking an ASL course in your local community and want additional instruction and practice
- You want to determine if you should seek a career as an ASL Interpreter
- You know some ASL signs but want to learn ASL grammar and syntax
- You want to expand your ASL vocabulary and signing abilities
- You have an interest in the Deaf community and its culture

 Earn your Certificate Today!
After you finish a Signing Online course, you will be sent an official certificate of completion to mark your accomplishment.
CEUs for Educators
If you are an educator, we offer State Board Approved Continuing Education Units (SB-CEUs) for the "Learning ASL Series" of courses. You can earn 1.5 CEUs for each course (or 6 CEUs to take all four!) The CEUs are State Board approved by the Michigan Department of Education and issued by Michigan State University.
CEs for Nurses
If you are a nurse, we offer Continuing Education contact hours for the "Learning ASL Series" of courses. You can earn 18 CEs for each course (or 72 CEs to take all four!) The CEs are issued by Michigan State University College of Nursing, which is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by the Michigan Nurses Association, an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Accredtitation.
