Creating SentencesThis section discusses the translation from English to ASL and how the individual signs flow together and are combined with facial expressions and body language to convey the proper meaning in the given dialog. Click each line in the ASL translation below to see it signed on the right and to learn more about the translation. Pay close attention to the facial clues that you should use when signing the sentences. Before moving on to the next sentence, practice signing the sentence at least 10 times or until you are comfortable signing it.
